Final Piece

This is my final piece, i like the aesthetics of the piece and i like the way it has come together.

Adverts

The main things a notice about the apple ad's are there is no distracting images as a background, they consist of the product with a simple block color of either black or white as the background. I will use a simple black as a background and then use thin white lines to disect any imagrey.

Layout Designs

These are some digital mock ups of layouts, i was originally going to do this design but then i decided it was a bit weak and it didn't have the feel of an official apple advert. I decided to look at an apple ad then work out what the main design constraints are.

Colorways

These are some examples of different color ways for the unit. I feel as though it should be either black or white for the main body seen as this makes it look more clean cut and futuristicly styled.

I Tried different colored globes to see if that would be make them seem better but i think that simple colors create a more sllek design look.

Idea Layouts

This image is of the way i made the main unit of my home centre. I used a 3-d effect in illustator to create it.

2020 Examples

This is a "screen" view that i have made to go on the circular head up function of the display, i see this working like the dock on a mac. Each function in a dock and you select one by touching and dragging it to the centre of the screen to maximize and the other returns to the dock. This could also allow multi user interface at different angles. This is aside from the functions of showing 3-d media as well through projection.



These are some designs i produced for an idea of shape and form to give myself a visual to do some poster designs from. The tall thin table like item is what the computer unit actually projects which has any sort of keys needed, this aswell includes the spherical display....I'd like to think it could project other shapes aswell like a rectangular screen for television.

This is an old add for an early mac.....who'd of thought what they'd turn out like...

Fancy...

If this isn't futuristic then i don't know what is, i think it's insane that technology is getting this advanced when this is what i'd think would be happening in the future, but advancements are happening faster and faster. This is visable with mobile phones, every few weeks a new model upgraded from the last is available. I just wander if anything which will be new technology by 2012 will even have any ties to items around at the mo.....

Strange inventions....

Just a few things that i thought should be seen, dunno why they've been made but you know whatever floats your boat.

Aint sure why but well done whoever invented this.....

It's called CB2 (Child-Robot with Biometric Body) and is the freaky creation of the Japan Science and Technology Agency. It can stand with assistance, roll around like a baby and even mimic some facial expressions - although not in a way that would make you want to cuddle it. One thing that worries me is that it sounds like a small yapping dog....weird.

The ACM-R5 comes from Japan, it has a small camera, lights and is powered by a lithium-ion battery that will allow it to swim menacingly for up to 30 minutes. I think it's cool how realistically it swims and can only imagine how much fun i could letting it loose in a public pool......hahaha.

Watch Phone??

This is a new watch phone i think this is very cool and futuristic, i mean it plays music, video, phone text and all other functions you'd expect a phone to have...very cool piece of tech.

Strange..

Those wacky Germans. Who else would think of creating the world’s "strongest artificially generated tornado" inside an old car museum?

The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, and the twister has been officially given the thumbs up by the Guinness Book Of World Records. The tornado measures 34.4 metres high and, in typical German fashion, was designed not as an attraction or an installation but as an innovative way to channel smoke out of the building during a fire. As fire fighting technologies go, this has to be one of the coolest looking.

Smallest Computer

This is the smallest computer money can apparently buy it has vista and many other features there is one thing it just seems to be drastically needing, a touch screen. This is getting more and more like future tech but it doesn't have that space age look that some new products offer.
